Ian Broudie is one of the most sought after producers in the industry. He started with Echo & The Bunnymen which more or less happened as an accident - they'd asked him to check over one of the songs, and he suggested little bits. They then asked for him to do some production work. He produces under his own name and under the name of Kingbird.
This is a list of credits that can be put to Ian Broudie's name. This is who he has worked with and who he has produced excluding the likes of the Lightning Seeds, Care, Original Mirrors and Big In Japan. This may not be complete, as I'm sure there is much more out there. This is compiled from a load of stuff I found out there on the internet. All production credits unless stated.
Previous to and supplementing the Lightning Seeds
Part one: The Care Microsite - a brief look into the first taste of the Lightning Seeds. The group Care, that featured Ian on guitars, bass and production work and as the tunesmith, and Paul Simpson on vocals, keyboards plus the lyrics.
Part Two: The Terry Hall Microsite - This gives an insight into the album "Home" recorded by Terry Hall and produced by Ian Broudie. The album features Terry's version of Sense, and another song co-penned by Ian, 'You'. Ian produces and plays guitar on the album. Also features half the crew that worked on Jollification and Angie Pollock and Chris Sharrock who would later become fully paid up members of the Lightning Seeds.
