A Few notes on Flaming Sword

Flaming Sword was Care's only chart hit. It peaked at number 48 in the UK charts in 1983, so it was a minor hit. Ian later recorded a version of the track in 1990, and released it in 1992 as a b-side to Sense. This is undoubtedly one of Care's finest moments. The 7" is backed with Misericorde, which is a gentle piano-laden track, which is based heavily on Flaming Sword (or vice versa). The 12" features the extra track "On The White Cloud", which is an instrumental (and superior) version of the track "White Cloud" (which can be found on the Diamonds and Emeralds album).
